The Community/Neighborhood Guides are organized by town or neighborhood/region (City of Chicago). Each town/neighborhood guide features:

Extensive information on public school systems and individual public schools, including ISAT test scores and data on student/teacher ratios, enrollment, teacher training, and basic curriculum. Other information on subjects such as enhanced curriculum, special needs, co-curricular activities, and extras, including before- & after-school care, is included for all districts and schools from which such information was received.

Detailed information about private schools including tuition, services (including before- & after-school care), curriculum, co-curricular programs, provisions for special needs, physical features, and staff qualifications.

Comprehensive information about childcare programs including hours, fees, activities, materials, and provisions for special needs.

Listings on summer day camps located at schools and child care centers. Profiles include information on basics such as location/fees/ages/times, as well as activities and facilities at each day camp program.

To order, simply copy and mail/email the form below to Metro Profiles™, 1674 Cumberland, Aurora IL 60504, 630-499-5810, familyguides@yahoo.com. Metro Profiles™ will then invoice customer for their order through PayPal (email address required). Customers will also receive their order electronically, upon request (attached Word files) at no extra cost.

Notice - Mailing Policy: Booklets are mailed, generally by first-class mail, generally within 24-48 hours of receiving an order, through the Postal Service (correct postage is figured and envelopes are mailed at the nearest mailbox). Spiral-Bound Books (entire Child Care Connections & entire School's In-Chicago) are mailed 4th class special - Book Rate, and will have a dated postal receipt and confirmation slip for the mailing. Metro Profiles™ does not routinely track items mailed, due to the expense involved (but can send your order certified, return-receipt requested, at your expense, $3.00 extra). We will email anyone who provides an email address with the date the order was mailed, and put in a tracking request if your order doesn't arrive within 5-7 days from when it was sent, or as per post office policy (upon notification from the customer). If your order doesn't arrive within 14 days of the tracking request, a replacement will be mailed. We ask any purchasers through PayPal to allow this process before making a chargeback due to non-receipt of materials ordered.
